Nisar is the founder and CEO of Translation Excellence. He is a native of Kabul, Afghanistan who came to the U.S. in 2001. Nisar is an accomplished language professional with over 14 years experience as a linguist, language instructor, language tester, cultural competency trainer, and curriculum developer. Nisar has Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Denver and also holds an Associate’s degree in Information Technology. In his free time, Nisar enjoys outdoor activities such as playing volleyball, hiking, snowboarding, and running.
Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager with Translation Excellence, Nathanael coordinates complex translation and interpretation projects and ensures that projects throughout the company are running smoothly. The son of a French professor and an English professor, Nathanael grew up in California with a passion for languages. He lived and attended school in Paris for 8th grade and studied abroad in Chile while he was attending Colorado College, where he was a romance language major. Nathanael speaks English, French, and Spanish. He became interested in translation when he took a French translation course his junior year at Colorado College and continued developing his translation skills by translating Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury into French for his senior thesis. In his free time, Nathanael enjoys playing tennis and playing in the mountains of Colorado, especially on the ski slopes.
Senior Project Manager
As a Project Manager with Translation Excellence, Gilda provides translation services and coordinates translation projects to meet our customers’ needs. Gilda is a native Spanish speaker and graduate of the Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico. She has many years of experience teaching Spanish to children and adults, and working with interpreters in the US and abroad. In addition, Gilda has extensive experience in the development, administration and scoring of language assessments. In her free time, she enjoys reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Business Development Specialist
As the Business Development Specialist for Translation Excellence, Harry assists in developing and guiding marketing and outreach strategies. Harry has a B.A. in Spanish, an M.A. in English with emphasis in teaching English as a second language, and completed his graduate certificate in Translation Studies from the University of Denver in November, 2013. Drawn to foreign languages and cultures since high school, Harry studied abroad in Costa Rica during the summer of 2006. He always knew he wanted to have a career working with foreign languages and cultures. He is a native speaker of English, and also speaks Spanish and some German. Harry moved to Colorado from Arkansas in 2012 and says he prefers the mountains to mosquitos. In his free time, Harry loves to read, listen to music, try new foods, and talk to friends.
